主に彫刻とパフォーマンスで知られ、彫刻と身体の関係を通して、他者との共生や永遠性と瞬間の持続など彫刻の在り方を表現している。彫刻的であることとパフォーマンス的であること、彫刻と身体の関係をお互いの媒介作用であるかのようにこの生態系の運動の内部で作用させたいと考え、変化する両者の緊張関係をパフォーマンス作品として提示する。

1988年、大阪府生まれ
京都市立芸術大学大学院美術研究科(彫刻専攻)修了
現在、ベルリンを拠点に活動

TANINAKA Yuske
sculpture, performance
Known primarily for his sculptures and performance work, Taninaka expresses sculpture's way of being, for example its symbiotic connection with the other, and relation to permanence and ongoing moments in time, via the relationship between sculpture and body. His aim is to utilize being sculptural and being performative, the relationship between sculpture and body, within the motion of this ecological system, as if they were mutually mediating actions, and he presents the changing tension between the two in performance works.
